Five things that you didn’t know about Punta Cana

Have you ever been in Punta Cana? Or are you planning to go? Well, here are certain things that you need to know:

1.    The Punta Cana of our days has only 45 years old. In 1969, what is now Punta Cana was just 30 square miles of undeveloped area. Then Frank Rainieri, Ted Kheel, and other 40 investors bought the island and constructed the first resort.
2.    It was called Drunkerd’s Point. Punta Cana was just a commercial name for the group of investors, the name has been wildly successful.
3.    Is one of the most popular destinations. It is actually the main source of tourist income to the Dominican Republic.
4.    It’s all-included. The 90% of hotels in Punta Cana are all-inclusive, so you don’t have to worry about anything, just for have time to relax.
5.    It has ten beaches. Some of them were ranked as the world’s best by the European Blue Flag Organization and UNESCO.

Definitely, Punta Cana is a must on our bucket list!
